Prayers for the Recently Deceased

The rare charnel ground Chö ritual from the tradition of Machik Labdron is performed repeatedly during the 49 day period after a person’s death to assist the recently deceased by liberating their consciousness in the bardo after death. This service is performed at NamDak SaLing by Ngakpa Dechen Namdrol, who is one of only a very small group of people in North America who hold the lineage of this ritual. Suggested donation of $200.

Refuge Vows

If you would like to take the vows and precepts of Refuge and formally become a Buddhist, please get in touch with Dechen Namdrol to arrange a time for an interview. You will also need to receive teachings on the vows and precepts and have some time to reflect on the teachings and the required commitment prior to the day the ceremony is to be conducted.

Home, Business or Land Blessing

The Sang sacred smoke ritual transmits spiritualized offerings to the unseen but always present enlightened beings, local spirits, land guardians and other beings inhabiting our environment and assists in the clearing of obstacles, accumulating positive karma and the improvement of the health of the environment. This service is performed at your location. Suggested donation of $75.

Windhorse/Lungta

The formal ritual associated with the raising of prayer flags that raises one’s energies associated with health, charisma, career, relationships, etc. This service is performed at your location. Suggested donation of $75, you supply the prayer flags. Please note that there are certain days of the month according to the lunar calendar to raise prayer flags, so some flexibility on your part when choosing a date is required.

Prayers for the Sick

A Healing Chod ritual or one of Medicine Buddha is performed on your behalf, or that of a loved one to purify karma, prolong life and decrease suffering. This service is performed at NamDak SaLing. Suggested donation of $25.

Sponsoring a Month of Tsok

A wonderful opportunity to accumulate merit for yourself or a loved one. Your donation will cover the costs of either (or both) ganachakra performed on either Guru Rinpoche or Dakini day during the lunar calendar. Suggested donation of $5/tsok for one month.
